Spotify Unveils Users' Lifetime Streaming Stats for 20-Year Celebration
Spotify is bringing listeners back to the very beginning.
The music streaming giant today announced the launch of “Your Party of the Year(s)," a fully personalized time capsule that lets users look back at their Spotify history, from Your Party of the Year(s)" the first day they signed up for their account.
Spotify revealed to Newsweek that the new experience “captures the moments that defined listeners’ music journeys, and celebrates the artists and fans who have shaped Spotify and music culture over the past 20 years.”
“The real story of 20 years of Spotify belongs to the fans and artists who have come together to turn discovery into something impersonal, moments into movement, and listening into community,” Angela Leffell, Spotify’s Global Brand Lead for Brand and Creative, said in the press announcement. “Instead of just celebrating Spotify, we wanted to give the story back to our users.”
Similar to the yearly Spotify Wrapped, users will be able to explore and share some of their biggest Spotify stats online, including their first-streamed song on the platform and their most-streamed artist of all time. The stats will also be neatly packaged in a custom share card that can be shared with friends and across social media.

Along with the new shareable data, users will also be able to dive deep into a specially curated All-Time Top Songs Playlist, which reveals their top 120 listened to tracks of all time.
“Spotify Wrapped reflects the same goal here in culture and listening,” said Axel Ulfson, Product Manager at Spotify. He also noted that “Your Party of the Year(s)” provides “the full listener journey from the moment they join Spotify.”
[Users] will be able to see how [their music taste] has developed over time,” he continued. “So it’s less about what they find to hear, and more about the broader story of how listening has moved us over time.”
“Your Party of the Year(s)" is now available on the Spotify mobile app and online for both premium and free users.
