Watch: 'American Idol' crowns 2026 winner
May 12 (UPI) --American Idol has crowned a new winner.
Hannah Harper beat out fellow finalist Jordan McCullough for the honor.
Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Carrie Underwood are the show's judges, while Ryan Seacrest serves as host.
Grammy winner Alicia Keys was a guest mentor and performer on Monday's finale.
Also taking the stage to sing were Motley Crue, Brad Paisley, Blues Traveler, Gin Blossoms, Cameron Whitcomb, Clay Aiken, En Vogue, Jason Mraz, Lee Ann Womack, Luke Bryan, Nelly, Shinedown and Tori Kelly.
