Iconic '90s Pop Queens' Surprise On-Stage Reunion Has Fans Begging for a Tour

Fans are telling them what they want, what they really, really want. And what they want is a Spice Girls reunion tour, especially after seeing the most recent surprise onstage reunion.

Over the weekend, Mel B and Mel C, aka Sporty Spice and Scary Spice, respectively, took to the stage of the Project House in Leeds, West Yorkshire, to belt out a performance of the iconic girl group's 1997 No. 1 hit "Spice Up Your Life." As the duo bounced around the stage, hyping up the audience and bringing the high-energy nostalgia, the fans didn't miss a beat, cheering and yelling every word.

"What is actually happening?!?" Mel C, real name Melanie Chrisholm, wrote over the video footage of the performance. "Good to be back with my Spice sister @MelB in Leeds, thank you for sharing the stage with me," she captioned the video on TikTok. The moment quickly spread online, reigniting long-standing calls for a full group comeback.

The two pop queens were leaned into their signature looks, with Sporty Spice rocking her signature Adidas track pants and an orange midriff-baring crop top, and Scary Spice sporting baggy jeans and a patterned long-sleeved crop top - unmistakable nods to their '90s heyday.

Chatter of a reunion tour has been buzzing for years. In March this year, however, Mel C confirmed that there were no plans for the Spice Girls to hit the road together again. But with the British pop group approaching their 30th anniversary, however, fans see the timing as too perfect to ignore. Sooo, fingers crossed.

According to People, the last time all five women - Melanie "Mel B" Brown ("Scary Spice"), Melanie "Mel C" Chrisholm ("Sporty Spice"), Emma Bunton ("Baby Spice"), Geri Halliwell ("Ginger Spice"), and Victoria Beckham ("Posh Spice") - performed together for a crowd was at the Closing Ceremony for the 2012 Olympics.

For now, we're all just holding onto moments like this one and hoping it's not the last.
