Amazon Prime Video Is Adding 5 New Shows in May, But This Superhero Series Is Our #1 Pick
Amazon Prime subscribers get the best of both worlds with same-day delivery on their favorite products on the Amazon app and a never-ending list of titles to choose from on Prime Video. Since the development of Amazon's in-house production studio, Amazon MGM Studios, the streaming service has been releasing exclusive shows and movies every month.
From a heartfelt comedy drama and the long-awaited TV adaptation of a popular romantic book series to the return of a popular spy thriller (starring Nicolas Cage), all five shows set to debut on Prime Video in May 2026 have us excited. However, there's one we've already blocked our calendars for to binge upon its release. Hint: Marvel fans will be pleased.

4. "Off Campus" (Series Premiere)

This collegiate romance drama series is based on the bestselling book series of the same name by Elle Kennedy. When Hannah Wells (Ella Bright), a reserved music major at Briar University, finds herself crushing on a guy, she strikes up a deal with Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli), a star hockey player with struggling grades.
They'll pretend to be in a relationship to make Hannah's crush jealous, and in return, she'll help Garrett pass his classes. It's strictly a business proposition-until one "pretend" kiss leaves both of them confused on what it is they really want from each other.
