Gymnast Simone Biles 'Spiraling' Over the Cost of Recent Red Carpet Glam
U.S. gymnast Simone Biles took to TikTok recently with a very important financial question. I mean, if you're a celebrity, athlete, and/or influencer, that is. It's not a money question for the regular folks among us. Biles really needs to know if it's normal these days (because inflation and all) to spend a whopping $23,000 on glam for a single red carpet event.
In the TikTok video, Biles says she recently paid the ginormous $23K price tag for style and glam for a red carpet event. She doesn't name the event but guessing it was the 2026 Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid, which she recently attended.
At the event held in Spain, she walked the red carpet, looking STUNNING, in this fabulous gold-feathered Cong Tri dress.

The most decorated gymnast in history says the $23,000 grand total she paid covered cost of the stylist fee and the hair and makeup team. In the comments section of her TikTok, she clarifies that she returned the gown, too. For that cost, she doesn't get to keep the dress.
So she asks her peers, "I just need to know if THIS is normal. Because I know going outside is expensive as f**k these days. But, like, is it this expensive, OK?"
And follows with, "If that's the new norm, you all can have it. You all will never see me at another event. I'm gonna stay my @ss right here. Where it's free."
