‘General Hospital' Hunk Impresses with Performance Honoring Michael Jackson

General Hospital fan favorite Giovanni Mazza (Gio) has yet again wowed fans with his musical skills.

Mazza took center court at the Los Angeles Lakers' NBA playoff game against the Houston Rockets to do his thing.

The actor wowed the audience with his violin skills as he played a song in honor of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Mazza was on fire as he put a spin on "Smooth Criminal," showcasing his killer technique and amazing musical gift.

In an Instagram post, Mazza shared a clip from the performance, where it was easy to see he was giving it his all and having the time of his life.

"Lakers Playoffs Game 2 - In honor of the Michael Jackson movie @michaeljackson 🎤🎸," read the caption on his Instagram post. The actor was referring to the new biopic, Michael, about the life of the legendary singer.

Several of Mazza's General Hospital co-stars flooded the comments section to gush over his outstanding performance.

"My son!! ❤️," wrote Mazza's on-screen father, Dominic Zamprogna (Dante). Mazza's on-screen grandmother, Rena Sofer (Lois), chimed in to say, "My boy!!! My amazing TV grandson!!!!"

Mazza's real-life best friend and on-screen girlfriend, Braedyn Bruner (Emma), declared, "you are the coolest person I know 🤩❤️✨." General Hospital star Laura Wright (Carly) gushed, "Hell Yeah !!!!! 💫💫💫," while Kelly Thiebaud (Britt) called the performance "Incredible 👏👏👏."

Nazneen Contractor (Justine) wrote, "AMAZING!!!" and Katelyn MacMullen (Willow) left clapping emojis for the talented violinist. The newest General Hospital star, Jonathan Bennett, popped in to call Mazza a "Legend."

Fans also rushed to gush over Mazza. "Now that's talented! He's unbelievable!🎻. God bless him! He's also a great actor and so handsome!!!!❤️," said a fan.

One fan added, "GHFan and love how they have included not only you as an amazing actor but to also show your talents as a musician 🎶wow!!! what an incredible violinist you are 🎻 so talented 💯 ❤️."

The soap star grew up in Chicago, where his love of the violin began at age three. Mazza first began playing at NBA halftime shows about 10 years ago when he performed for his hometown team, the Chicago Bulls. Over the past few years, he has become a regular at halftime shows for various NBA teams.

General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
