'Bachelorette' Star Shares Personal Update as Divorce Rumors Swirl
No, Katie Thurston isn't getting a divorce. In fact, the former Bachelorette star just shared a major personal update that appears to shut down recent rumors about her marriage to comedian Jeff Arcuri.
On Wednesday, April 22, Thurston took to Instagram to share that she and Arcuri bought a house.
"Life update: @jarcuri and I bought a house! But not just any house, but one that will require a lot TLC to get her ready. This is a huge project we will be documenting over the next year with the help of @salacuse and @jaedon.meek," Thurston captioned a video. "This is just the beginning as we create our demo plan with the help of @re_design_architects . Join the Demo Diaries (in bio) for inside scoops and conversations and stay tuned for the future YouTube series to be dropped."
Thurston and Arcuri's news comes on the heels of rumors that their marriage was on the rocks. Just one day before posting about the new house, Thurston took to her Instagram Stories to address divorce rumors head on.
"I have a question: Are you divorcing me?" Thurston, 34, asked Arcuri, 38. "Well, I noticed you haven't been ‘liking' my posts, like, the last six you haven't ‘liked.' … The internet says you're leaving me," she added.
"I don't look at Instagram," Arcuri replied. "Are you serious? I'll go ‘like' them right now if you need to. I don't ‘like' anything."
Thurston explained to her husband that there was an article posted on Facebook that reported that her relationship was over. In the comments section of their new house post, some fans even joked about the split rumors.
"What a divorce present! So excited for y'all! Can't wait to see the final product," one person wrote.
"Wait! But he didn't 'like' your last post!! Congrats!!!" someone else said.
Thurston and Arcuri, who got married in March 2025, live in New York with their dog, Charlie.
