'Law & Order: Organized Crime' canceled, no Season 6

April 16 (UPI) --Law & Order: Organized Crime won't return for a sixth season.

Deadline reported Thursday that the crime drama series starring Christopher Meloni has been canceled after five seasons.

Variety confirmed the show won't be getting a Season 6.

Organized Crime was a spinoff of Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU featuring Meloni as Det. Elliot Stabler. The series aired its first four seasons on NBC and was shown on both NBC and Peacock for Season 5.

Mariska Hargitay made guest appearances as Stabler's SVU partner Det. Olivia Benson during the show's run.

In late 2024, reports surfaced that John Shiban would become the fifth showrunner to leave the series in four years.

The Season 5 finale aired in June 2025.
