Country Music Superstar Shares Exciting News With Fans Months After High-Profile Divorce
Keith Urban is giving fans something new to look forward to after sharing an exciting update about his next big appearance. On Wednesday, April 15, the country music star took to his Instagram Stories to share the news that he'll be headlining "ACM Next Wave: Country's Beach Bash" in Las Vegas next month.
"We'll be putting the 'beach' in beach bash. Can't wait," Urban captioned the post. Meanwhile, an official press release about the upcoming show was released.
"2025 ACM Triple Crown Award recipient and 14-time ACM Award-winning Country superstar Keith Urban will headline 'ACM Next Wave: Country's Beach Bash' at Mandalay Bay Beach, Saturday, May 16," it reads, in part.
"Urban joins previously announced performers including Flatland Cavalry, Ashley Cooke, Dasha, Braxton Keith, and Tucker Wetmore, as well as Opry NextStage Live featuring members of the Class of 2026 – Willow Avalon, Graham Barham, Tyler Braden, Alexandra Kay, Vincent Mason, Emily Ann Roberts, and Hudson Westbrook. Tickets are available starting at $150 for VIP and $75 for General Admission at AXS.com," the release continues.
The announcement comes about four months after Urban and actress Nicole Kidman finalized their divorce.
So far, fans seem really excited that Urban has been named as the headliner for the upcoming beach bash.
"I simply love Keith," one person commented on the announcement, which was posted on the official Instagram account for the Academy of Country Music Awards.
"My fave getting [added], LFG," someone else wrote.
The "Next Wave" concert will lead up to the 61st ACM Awards, which will stream live on Prime Video on Sunday, May 17.
