The city of Firebaugh celebrates the summer harvest in serious small-town fashion — with a weekend of music, food, carnival games and rides.

Think funnel cakes, beer booths and mini-roller-coaster rides.

The annual Harvest Festival (still known by some as Cantaloupe Roundup, no doubt) runs through Sunday, July 26, at Dunkle Park and features a full slate of live music, including country and classic rock from Wheelhouse and Hard Times, plus performances from Extradicion Norteña and Sonora Dinamita, Los Humildes and Los Kinos.
