Thanksgiving means one thing in entertainment, of course – Christmas-themed events are about to kick off.

Here are seven things you won’t want to miss this week, including the annual car show, concerts, theater – and Christmas-themed performances.

Melanie Fiona The Canadian R&B singer was born and raised in Toronto and began her career in 2002 as part of a girl band called X-Quisite. She went on to be part of The Renaissance with rapper Drake, before releasing her solo album in 2009 titled “The Bridge.” Her debut single, “Give It to Me Right” peaked at No. 20 on the Canadian Hot 100 charts but it was her second single, “It Kills Me,” that earned her a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. The Hunchback of Notre Dame: the Musical Curtains go up for the opening-night performance of the musical based on the 1831 novel written by Victor Hugo with songs from the Disney animated feature film. It’s a tale of love, acceptance and what it means to be a hero. A special dinner performance will be held during Feast of Fools beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday. The evening includes hors d’ouevres, dinner and show and tickets cost $75. Regular performances continue through Dec. 2. Details: 7 p.m. Friday. Central California Auto Show Hundreds of new 2018 model cars, trucks, SUVs and crossovers will transform the Fresno Convention Center into an auto lover’s dream for three days. Whether you’re in the market for a new car or just into the latest car technology, the auto show will have what you’re looking for. Test drive one of over 25 models from Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford and others. Attendees will also receive a one-year subscription to Motor Trend. Details: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday. Screening of ‘Aladdin’ Disney’s “Aladdin” first hit the big screen in 1992 and returns for a special viewing to celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary. Details: 2 p.m. Saturday. Hanford Fox Theatre. $5. 559-584-7823, www.foxhanford.com.

Lydia Pense & Cold Blood They made their debut at the historic Fillmore in San Francisco where owner Bill Graham was so impressed with their music that he immediately signed the band. During the late 1960s and early 1970s, Lydia and her band, along with Tower of Power, forged their own brand of funk, soul and R&B which eventually became known as East Bay Grease. She packed San Francisco halls during her heyday performing hits like “You Got Me Hummin’,” “I’m a Good Woman” and “Down to the Bone.” She returned with the first Cold Blood album in three decades in 2005 and has since released three more albums. A Little Country Christmas Travel back 25 years to 1992 where Dolly, Reba and more classic country singers put on a show as big as their hair. In this version, the entertainers have found their caravan stranded in Hanford on their way to Hollywood when they decide to put on a good ol’ fashion special country Christmas show that is sure to be remembered. The holiday show opens Friday night and continues through Dec. 10. Details: 7:30 p.m. Friday. Temple Theatre, Hanford. $12-$14. 559-584-7241, kingsplayers.net.

A Festival of Lessons and Carols The annual Christmas program features a collection of Scriptures and carols woven into a service celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. All proceeds will benefit Fresno Pacific University’s music program. Details: 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday.
