Parenting workshop
A workshop titled “Nonviolent Parenting: Parenting with Peace, Love and Wisdom” will be held 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at Fresno State’s Alice Peters Auditorium in the University Business Center, 5245 N. Backer Ave. The class will be led by Diane Tillman, a practitioner and teacher of Raja yoga for more than 35 years. The author of “Mindful Guide to Parenting” is a marriage and family therapist and has worked as a school psychologist for 20 years. The class is open to parents, educators or anyone who works with schools, agencies or youth ministries.
