Tiger Woods returns to Riviera, where PGA Tour career began

Tiger Woods is roaring into the new year, preparing to play four times in five weeks in his return to the PGA Tour after a 15-month absence. One of his stops includes a return to his hometown tournament in Los Angeles, where he made his first start on the pro tour as a skinny 16-year-old.

Former Fresno State men's golf coach Mike Watney has volunteered to donate one of his kidneys to help friend Jon DeChambeau. To help return that generosity, DeChambeau has started the Gift of Life golf fundraiser to raise organ-donation awareness, tell Watney's story of paying it forward and to help the Fresno Nephrology Kidney Foundation.
