Bo Nix Gets Rosy Projection Before Broncos' 2026 Season
Bo Nix helped lead the Denver Broncos almost all the way to the Super Bowl. But, a late-season injury meant he couldn’t play in the AFC championship game, and the Broncos lost.
Now, he and the Broncos are getting a second chance. They’re back, and Nix is getting healthy again. They also have superstar wide receiver Jaylen Waddle in the squad.
So, let’s say this is Nix’s year. Let’s say he and the Broncos go all the way. It could happen.

“Bo Nix doesn’t skip a beat after recovering from the season-ending ankle injury he suffered last postseason. In fact, he’s better than ever after the Broncos gave him another top-tier pass-catching weapon in Jaylen Waddle this offseason,” Tyler Sullivan of CBS Sports states in a story about the best-case scenario in 2026. “With RJ Harvey taking a leap in Year 2, Denver’s backfield improves and the offense becomes a high-powered machine. When paired with the defense, the Broncos earn the No. 1 seed for the second consecutive year and find themselves playing in Super Bowl LXI.”
Why Bo Nix Could Be Even Stronger This Year
Nix enters this season in a much different spot than he did a year ago. The uncertainty that follows most rookie quarterbacks is totally gone by now. He has seen NFL defenses, taken his lumps and gained the kind of experience that doesn’t show up unless you work for it.
Nix looked increasingly comfortable operating within the offense last season, making decisions on time and avoiding the reckless mistakes that can derail young quarterbacks. It was impressive. That foundation could pay off in a big way this year.

Plus, he has Waddle now. There’s really no stopping Nix, if he stays healthy. He could be positioned for the best season of his young career.
