All Eyes Are on Jordan Love and the Packers in 2026

Are the Green Bay Packers an entertaining team to watch in the NFL, even for those outside of Wisconsin? The team’s rivals would say “no,” but one NFL analyst thinks Jordan Love and company are quite the team to watch.

In an article for USA Today published on Friday, June 12, Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz lists every NFL team from most to least entertaining. Now, this is subjective, of course. He notes that “there’s no universal standard for football aesthetics.”

“While transactions have mostly slowed to a trickle, the period before training camps doesn’t tend to lend a lot of insight into the state of teams,” he adds. “Prior to practices starting in a more formal summer setting, it can be difficult to make substantive assertions about the upcoming campaign. But summer is meant to be a time of fun, so let’s assess each franchise on how amusing each team might be in the fall.”

“When everything is clicking, Green Bay is hardly stuck in the middle of the pack,” he says in the piece. “Jordan Love can be deadly working against man coverage or attacking deep, and Micah Parsons last year reaffirmed his place as one of the game’s few elite disruptive forces.”

He adds: “Yet with Parsons acknowledging he won’t return from a torn anterior cruciate ligament until at least mid-October, it’s clear that the Packers will have to navigate another season in which they’re not close to full strength.”

Love is a regular on top of “could be great” quarterback lists. He has the potential to be excellent, and if he has the right players around him in 2025, that could make for a thrilling watch.
