Danica Patrick Taunts Critics With New Gym Photo at 44
Danica Patrick is still hitting the gym hard these days.
The 44-year-old former NASCAR and IndyCar driver retired back in 2018. Patrick, who has since gotten involved on the TV side of things, has remained very active. The former racing star turned TV personality has been going to the gym several days a week, while also playing golf, tennis and hitting the slopes.
Patrick shared a new gym photo on Instagram this week. While Patrick has a lot of critics these days, she's reminding everyone: Don't mess with me.
"Don't mess with us," she wrote to her critics, posing for a photo next to one of her gym partners.
Patrick has been pretty consistent with her gym habits. Her gym routine consists of a lot of "high-intensity interval training and combines aerobic exercise with calisthenics (push-ups and burpees) and weights."
"I learned you can change the size of your body with cardio but you'll never change the shape of your body without adding weights to your exercise routine," Patrick previously admitted. "Weight training can help you build lean muscle and lose body fat."
Patrick has more time these days, too
Patrick has more time these days, too, after leaving her role at SkySports.
"From my first Sky Sports F1 race in Austin to my last 5 years later… I had such a blast! The Sky team was so much fun (thank you all), I saw so many amazing new race tracks and cities, and got to be part of a huge boom in F1!
"I called after the last race in 2025 and said it was time for me to move on and I was so grateful for the opportunity and experience I was given!
"….and now due to my deep exposure to F1, I will be glued to my TV for the season starting this weekend, like every other fan!"
Patrick will be back on the air for more NASCAR and IndyCar races later this summer.
