Chase Elliott's Newest Paint Scheme Has a Story Deeper Than NASCAR Itself
Chase Elliott has been making a difference both on and off the track for a decade strong. At this summer's Atlanta Night Race at EchoPark Speedway, Elliott will be sporting a special paint scheme for his DESI9N TO DRIVE program.
The scheme, as seen below, will be the 10th time in which Elliott showcases his DESI9N TO DRIVE scheme. When sporting the design in 2025, Elliott went on to win the Atlanta Night Race.
The project is an effort launched by The Chase Elliott Foundation in 2017. The foundation has a motto to "LIVE HEALTHIER AND HAPPIER LIVES." The foundation is versatile in its provision, "dedicated to providing support and financial assistance to well-qualified charitable organizations with an emphasis on helping others live healthier, happier lives."

This year's paint scheme was designed by two pediatric patients from Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Elliott is a Georgia native, so the logistics make plenty of sense: providing charity to his home state and wearing the paint scheme at his home track, EchoPark Speedway.
The design is imagined by the patients, who are named Noelle and Maximus. Each drew their own visualization of their desired car design.
Noelle drew a white car with red and orange fiery numbers that rip off the rubber wheels, and a baseball drawn alongside the number 9.
Maximus kept the baseball theme, using yellow for the main body colors and adding baseball seams. Maximus then added a fighter jet with "AirChase" on the side, along with additional wording on the car reading "Hope Will Max" and "Children's, paying homage to their care at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Elliott met with his artists this week right outside of Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves. The video shows the car covered with a black cloth, then uncovered to the cheers of everyone at the event, including Elliott, Noelle, and Maximus.
The paint scheme, which combines their two drawings, will be sported on July 12 at EchoPark Speedway, where the race will run under the lights, with a green-flag time just past 7:00 p.m. ET. Elliott will gun for his 2025 race win and go to victory lane in consecutive races at the Quaker State 400.
