Noteworthy: Lopez hit a grand slam to give the Heralds the lead as they defeated St. Paul 11-8 in the semifinals of the CIF-SS Division 2 playoffs. It was Lopez's sixth home run of the season. The Heralds are in their first championship game since 2010. They play Mater Dei in the final Friday in Irvine.
