Ronda Rousey's Massive Payday for Gina Carano Fight Revealed

Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) hosted a historic MMA event in Inglewood on Saturday night, featuring several former UFC stars on the main card.

Most notably, Francis Ngannou earned a first-round knockout victory over Philipe Lins, while Nate Diaz won his co-main event bout against bare-knuckle star Mike Perry via doctor's stoppage.

The main event featured Ronda Rousey against Gina Carano, with Rousey securing a familiar armbar submission just 17 seconds into the opening round.

On Monday, Front Office Sports revealed the reported payouts for several fighters on the Netflix-streamed card.

Rousey earned the largest payday by far, taking home $2.2 million for the 17-second victory. Ngannou reportedly earned $1.5 million, while Carano made $1.05 million. Diaz was paid $500,000, Perry earned $400,000, and Jason Jackson reportedly received $110,000.

Rousey made it clear after the fight that she is officially retiring from the sport, despite her previous MMA bout coming all the way back in 2016 in the UFC.

"There's no way I could have ended it better than this," Rousey said during her post-fight speech. "I want to have some more babies, and I got to get cooking."
