"I Fear for Myself": Indiana Fever's Aliyah Boston Has an Issue With Her NBA 2K Look

Indiana Fever star Aliyah Boston remains one of the most popular players in the WNBA today. She was an MVP candidate last season, all while being voted an All-Star and a member of the All-WNBA Second Team.

In two games played this 2026 season, Boston has averaged 13.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks, continuing to be a key cog for Indiana.

Considering Boston's stature, it would have been safe to assume that anything related to her would be handled properly. However, popular basketball video gameNBA 2K and its developers probably didn't get the memo.

Ahead of the release of NBA 2K26 Season 7, which included some WNBA updates, Boston discussed her appearance in the game during the latest episode of her "Post Moves" podcast with Candace Parker.

Boston didn't hide the fact that her character doesn't resemble her at all, saying that she looks "like a little boy."

"That's me. Are we joking?" Boston said as she was shown her game image. "I look like a little boy. ... I fear for myself. Why would they do that? I've done face scans!"

The only silver lining that Boston found was that her NBA 2K appearance isn't really the worst among Fever players when it comes to resembling the player it's supposed to portray. Lexie Hull's game image was worse, which made Boston happy.

"I don't think mine is as bad as Lexie's, so I still win," Boston hilariously added. "I still make it out alive, because Lexie's is silly."

It remains to be seen if NBA 2K will make improvements to the appearances of Boston and other WNBA players in the game before Season 7 drops. Regardless, Boston has made her opinion clear, and it's safe to say that she won't be looking at it anytime soon.
