NFL World Reacts to Star-Studded NFL Thanksgiving Slate

The full NFL schedule for the 2026–27 season is set to be unveiled Thursday night, but several high-profile matchups have already been leaked.

That includes the full Thanksgiving Day slate, which many fans are calling one of the best sets of games on the holiday in recent memory.

For the first time, the league is also set to feature a Thanksgiving Eve game, with the Green Bay Packers taking on the Los Angeles Rams exclusively on Netflix.

The Thanksgiving tripleheader will include:

On Black Friday, part of the NFL's recently expanded holiday programming, the Denver Broncos will travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers in a game that will air on Amazon.

"This is a crazy Thanksgiving Day lineup. Legitimately no good spot for a post-turkey nap," a fan said.

Another added, "That Black Friday game trash but definitely A+ lineup."

Someone else wrote, "Going to be a long day of great food and football!"

"These Thanksgiving and Christmas matchups have been so gas. The NFL is cooking with this year's schedule," a fan shared.

One more commented, "Eight straight days of football during a week meant for spending time with family. There will be divorces."

While the Lions, Bears, and Cowboys have become familiar fixtures on Thanksgiving in recent years - and Josh Allen and the Bills have appeared three times, going 3–0 with Allen as the starter - this will surprisingly be the first time Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs take the field on the holiday.
