Bay Area News Group boys athlete of the week: Joseph Holt, Granada baseball

Granada baseball player Joseph Holt is the Bay Area News Group's boys high school athlete of the week for April 13-18.

In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Holt had 71.4% of the vote to finish ahead of Menlo-Atherton runner Evan Chopra, who was second at 17%.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this week's recognition.

Holt knocked in three runs in Granada's 8-2 win over Foothill.

Votes by email do not count. Only votes submitted through the online poll on the Mercury News and East Bay Times websites will count.
