Name: Dailynn Battee

Year: Sophomore

Noteworthy: Battee reached base safely in all nine of her trips to the plate last week as the Eagles scored wins over Chino Hills and Rancho Cucamonga to remain unbeaten in Baseline League play. Battee belted solo home runs during the second and third innings and walked three times in Etiwanda’s 11-9 victory over Chino Hills. She cracked a two-run homer to cap an eight-run first inning and drew three walks in the game, as the Eagles rolled to a 12-2 victory over Rancho Cucamonga. Battee is batting .627 with 11 home runs, 33 runs and 30 RBIs this season. She was selected as the Calhisports.com Freshman of the Year last season.
