The global warming hoax

Internet research and literature on climate change shows there is no “97 percent consensus.” The surveys reporting that figure have repeatedly been shown to be methodologically flawed.

No surprise: Does anyone really think that every scientist or climatologist in the world has been canvassed as to his detailed opinion on climate change? If anything, it seems that fewer than 50 percent of climatologists feel that anthropogenic CO2 emissions pose a catastrophic threat.

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change studies and Obama’s own National Climate Assessment (2013) concluded there has been no increase in the frequency or severity of floods and droughts since 1900. The recent drought in California is not unprecedented. Paleoclimatologists report prior droughts lasting as long as 80 years in California.

Average global temperatures from 1950 through the 1970s cooled slightly and satellite data has shown no warming over the past 18 years despite rising CO2 levels in both periods. Temperatures during the Medieval Warming Period were warmer than they are today without CO2 forcing.

Anthropogenic global warming is a hoax instigated by leftist politicians, encouraged by a few dishonest scientists, and aided by an irresponsible press with the intention of destroying capitalism and individual freedom in favor of a government controlled economy.
