Hanson’s ridiculous comparison
“California is as Confederate as 1860 South Carolina,” so says the headline above Victor Davis Hanson’s Feb. 12 column.
South Carolina in 1860 and California in 2017 are drastically different. I was trying to come up with a ludicrous comparison that is equally ridiculous. I found one. Compare Victor Davis Hanson with a knowledgeable, legitimate historian.
