Renters need to know their rights
As a resident in Fresno County, there are many things that we should be aware of, especially slumlords.
We as a community are concerned that there are too many dangerous conditions on property that deserves everyone’s prompt attention. Many renters are getting sick from landlords not fixing moldy ceilings and walls. Others have experienced living without no hot water or heater because the landlord does not believe they have anything to do with that problem.
For everyone to be aware of this issue, we have to come together as one and talk about all the issues that we have as renters. Everyone needs to know their rights as a renter and the landlords need to respect that. As a community, we want everyone to all be treated equally and have the same opportunities as other renters.
