Aging parents with lots of stuff – and the children who dread inheriting it

As baby boomers grow older, the volume of unwanted keepsakes and family heirlooms is poised to grow – along with the number of delicate conversations about what to do with them. According to a 2014 U.S. census report, more than 20 percent of America’s population will be 65 or older by 2030. As these waves of older adults start moving to smaller dwellings, assisted living facilities or retirement homes, they and their kin will have to part with household possessions that the heirs simply don’t want.

International Space Station makes surprise appearance during eclipse

In this video captured at 1,500 frames per second with a high-speed camera, the International Space Station, with a crew of six onboard, is seen in silhouette as it transits the sun during a partial solar eclipse, Monday, Aug. 21, 2017 near Banner, Wyoming. A total solar eclipse swept across part of the contiguous United States from Lincoln Beach, Oregon to Charleston, South Carolina.
