Mexico to Trump: We won’t take your unwanted immigrants

Mexico is not happy – actually angry – about President Donald Trump expectation that it would hold U.S. asylum applicants while they fight their cases in U.S. courts. Mexican Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray vowed Wednesday that Mexico will not accept the Trump’s administration “unilateral” directives and that President Enrique Peña Nieto would make that clear directly to U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly when they meet on Thursday.

A sign on Interstate 40 Business west between Winston-Salem and Greensboro in North Carolina that reads “Real men provide, Real women appreciate it,” has garnered reactions from people who believe the message is misogynistic and outdated. Winston-Salem boutique owner and activist Molly Grace says the sign’s message is an attempt to silence women who want to be seen as equals to men.
