One teenager was booked into the Fresno County Jail on suspicion of involuntary manslaughter and a second teen was booked on accessory charges in connection with a May 7 shooting in southeast Fresno, the Police Department said.

Antonio De la Cruz, 18, was arrested on a charge of involuntary manslaughter and David Isaac Delbosque, 18, was being held on suspicion of felony accessory, Fresno police said. Both suspects were booked on May 16.

Around 5 p.m. on May 7, officers responded to the 400 block of North Manila Avenue regarding a 16-year-old gunshot victim, Fresno police said. He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment but died from his injuries on May 10.

The victim was not identified due to his age, police said.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene and, with the assistance of the Fresno County coroner’s autopsy, determined the teenager’s death was criminal, police said.
