Two men shot at central Fresno motel

Two men were shot Thursday night at a central Fresno motel, police said.

Officers responded to Fresno Motel on 1325 N. Golden State Blvd., just north of Olive Avenue, around 6:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting victim, Lt. Ron Hughes said. They found two men in their 40s and 20s with gunshot wounds in the stomach and hands.

The victims weren’t able to give information to police, Hughes said. They were taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The cause of the shooting is under investigation.
