Two victims were shot in central Fresno on Wednesday night, the Fresno Police Department said.
The shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. when police received multiple calls of shots being fired near the 2600 block of West Fountain Way. Officers found a male in his 40s with a gunshot wound to his hip and a 15-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his elbow.
Both victims were transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment and are currently in surgery.
Detectives are on the scene conducting witness interviews and canvassing the area. A white Thunderbird was seen fleeing the scene, but it is unknown if the vehicle is related to the crime.
