Clovis police officer arrested for alleged domestic violence

Clovis police confirmed the arrest Monday of Officer Christopher Paul Hutchison on domestic violence allegations.

The event happened in Clovis, but the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office investigated the case at the request of Clovis police.

Hutchison, 37, has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of both the criminal and internal investigations. He was released on bond Sunday night from Fresno County Jail.

The victim in this case is confidential due to the nature of the crime.
