Sanger man identified who was killed in bar shooting
A Sanger man who was shot at a bar in the city and died from his injuries early Sunday was identified as Hugo Huerta, 41, by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.
Officers were called at 1:34 a.m. to a report of a fight and shots fired near the North Pole Bar, which is located in the 1000 block of Eighth Street.
A second man was located at a home in Sanger with a gunshot injury that was not life-threatening. He told officers he had been in a fight at the bar. Both victims were transported to CRMC.
