Fresno police seized a loaded AR-15 type rifle from a driver and arrested a passenger who is a Bulldog gang member Thursday night in north Fresno.

Sgt. Bob Reynolds said officers pulled over the driver after he was spotted weaving in and out of traffic near Blackstone and Shaw avenues just after 7 p.m. They noticed that the passenger, identified as Guillermo Quintana, 20, of Fresno, was trying to hide something. It turned out to be an AR-15 with no serial numbers.

Quintana was booked on weapons charges. The driver, Bounthone Phanvilay, 21, of Fresno, was charged with possessing a loaded firearm in his car.
