Police: Fresno gang members arrested with narcotics, handgun
Two Fresno men were arrested Sunday for possession of narcotics and a concealed handgun, Fresno police Sgt. C. Desmond said.
Daevonte Stroud, 19, and Dominic Grigsby, 27, were stopped by officers as their vehicle left a loud party, Desmond said. During a search of the vehicle, he said, officers found a small amount of cocaine, several large bottles of alcohol, open bottles of prescription cough syrup promethazine, and a loaded gun in the center console.
One of the men had a large bag of cocaine on his person, Desmond said. Both Stroud and Grigsby claim association with a west Fresno street gang known as “TWOMP,” he said.
