Visalia police say it appears couple found dead in home died in murder-suicide
Two people found dead in a Visalia home appear to be victims of a murder-suicide, police said Tuesday.
Jonathan Pena, 27, and Adriana Rosa Diaz, 24, both of Visalia, were found dead Saturday in the home in the 4200 block of West Cambridge Avenue.
“The evidence appears to indicate that Jonathan Pena shot and killed Adriana Diaz and then committed suicide,” police said in a statement. The motive is unknown and the case remains under investigation.
About 10 a.m. Saturday, Visalia police officers went to the property to check on two adults.
Once inside, they found the couple dead from gunshot wounds.
Anyone with information should call Detective Kevin Grant at 559-713-4092.
