Woman shot and killed in Madera is city’s first homicide of 2017
A woman was fatally shot early Monday in a northeast Madera apartment complex, the city’s first homicide of 2017, police said.
Madera police got a call about 2 a.m. Monday to go to the complex at 701 N. Granada Drive, where they found a woman identified as Latisha Logan, 37, suffering from a gunshot wound. She died at the scene.
A motive in the shooting is being investigated. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to Madera police Detective Hector Garibay, 559-675-4248.
