Two men left injured after shooting in east-central Fresno
Two people suffered gunshot wounds after a Friday night incident in a parking lot near Fresno Yosemite International Airport in east-central Fresno.
About 9:39 p.m., police arrived at a parking lot near Winery and Yale avenues where they found two men ages 26 and 36 who had been shot, said Fresno police Lt. Mike Brogdon.
The victims were working on fixing their car in the parking lot when another vehicle pulled up next to their vehicle, Brogdon said. The three occupants – two males and a female, exited the vehicle, and then one of the males shot the two victims.
Brogdon said the three then fled in their vehicle, which was described as a four-door Chevy Cobalt.
The victims were hit in their lower extremities, according to police, and said to be in stable condition.
