Vehicle fire under investigation in Visalia
The Visalia Fire Department is investigating an early morning car fire that threatened a home, Battalion Chief Brian Adney said.
Adney said fire crews responded to a home at 701 S. Sowell St. around 4:38 a.m. on Sunday for a report of a burning 1991 Jeep Cherokee, Flames threatened the residence.
Firefighters extinguished the flames and avoided any damage to nearby structures.
The Jeep was a total loss, with an estimated $2,000 in damages, Adney said.
No injuries were reported.
