Author, New York Times columnist David Brooks to speak at Fresno State
Author and New York Times columnist David Brooks will speak at Fresno State on May 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Satellite Student Union.
Brooks is a regular analyst on the PBS “NewsHour” and NPR’s “All Things Considered,” and also teaches a course at Yale University.
Fresno State President Joseph Castro invited Brooks to speak after reading his newest book, “The Road to Character.”
Brooks’ other books include “The Social Animal: The Hidden Sources of Love, Character and Achievement,” New York Times bestseller “Bobos in Paradise” and “On Paradise Drive.”
The appearance is co-sponsored by the Ethics Center at Fresno State and The Fresno Bee.
