Fresno teen shot through bedroom window dies
A 17-year-old boy was killed Sunday in the rear bedroom of a southwest Fresno apartment when he was struck by a bullet fired from an alley, police said.
Benzo Ford of Fresno was inside a rear bedroom of an apartment in the 2300 block of South Clara Avenue when shots fired from an adjacent alley came through the bedroom window, fatally striking him.
Officers and emergency medical workers attempted to save Ford’s life, but he died at the scene.
It is unknown if the shooting was gang-related.
