Woman injures leg in Bass Lake boating accident
Another accident happened at Bass Lake on Friday, but this time no one was killed, the Madera County Sheriff’s Office said.
The accident happened at around 4 p.m. when a woman in her mid-20s fell off the front of her boat while it was moving.
She was pulled under the boat and one of her legs was hit by the propeller, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The woman was airlifted to an area hospital for a leg injury.
In the past week, two other accidents at the lake killed two teenagers and put another in the hospital with severe injuries.
