Next Generation Philanthropy awards grants to benefit Fresno

Next Generation Philanthropy will award grants for two organizations benefiting youth and revitalization programs in Fresno.

Junior Achievement of Northern California and Downtown Fresno Association each will receive a $7,500 grant at a reception hosted by NGP.

The reception will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday at The Lime Light, 1054 W. Shaw Ave. in Fresno.

Junior Achievement of Northern California will use its grant to fund JA Social Innovation Camp, a student-led event that fall.

Downtown Fresno Association will use the grant to improve economic growth in downtown.
