‘Dog day’ for owners, pets at Fresno’s Woodward Park

Pit bulls and plenty of other dog breeds decked out in Hawaiian attire turned out Sunday for Bully Walk 2015 at Woodward Park.

The event included a walk around the park, and face painting, dog agility courses, a “Hula Wiggle Butt Contest,” fly-ball demonstrations, vendors and animal rescues from around the area. The event benefited the Fresno Bully Rescue group.

All breeds of dogs were welcome and many were dressed out in Hawaiian attire, as were some of their owners.
