Wine tasting teaches about water conservation and sustainability

A Thursday evening wine tasting in Friant intends to promote sustainability and water conservation in the local wine industry.

Fresno State enology lecturer John Giannini and Peter Vallis from the San Joaquin Valley Wine Growers Association will speak at “Save Water — Drink Wine” on Thursday, June 25 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Fasi Estate Winery, 42415 Road 208.

Prices are $5 for members of U.S. Green Building Council Central California, $15 for non-members.
