Some birds ask politely for snacks, and then there are Cockatoos ready to represent themselves in court.

In the video, a 35-year-old Cockatoo makes his case for pasta with the passion of someone who's found the seasonal feeding system guilty. His human explains in the caption that he's supposed to eat from his seasonal plan, but he has a different vision for dinner: noodles.

The post jokes that he missed his calling as a lawyer, and honestly, that argument has range. He starts with gibberish that somehow sounds urgent and legally binding. You don't know what he's saying, but you understand the tone: objections filed.

Then he changes tactics.

Instead of continuing with volume, he starts sweet-talking. Suddenly, the bird who was delivering a statement is slipping a little "I love you" energy, like he's negotiating a snack settlement. It's shameless. It's brilliant. It's the kind of emotional manipulation only a beloved Parrot could pull off while still looking adorable.

And yes, it works.

By the end, he gets a piece of pasta, because what were they supposed to do? One viewer basically said the quiet part out loud: Give the bird the noodle. After watching that performance, it's hard to disagree. He earned it. Maybe not nutritionally. Maybe not legally. But theatrically? Absolutely.

This bird knows how to work the room. The gibberish gets attention. The charm closes the deal. The pasta arrives. That's not begging. That's strategy.

At 35, this Cockatoo has mastered persuasion, and some humans could take notes.

Can Cockatoos Eat Pasta?

If your bird is campaigning hard for a bite of your food, it's OK to pause before handing it over. Plain pasta can be an occasional, tiny treat, but it shouldn't replace a balanced bird diet. Skip sauces, salt, butter, garlic, and anything heavily seasoned, because "just one bite" can get messy fast.

VCA Animal Hospitals explains that Cockatoos do best with a pelleted diet as the main base, plus appropriate fruits and vegetables in limited amounts. Treats can be fun, but they're still treats.

And if your Cockatoo says "I love you" mid-negotiation, good luck. You're only human.
