Live Nation ‘Summer of Live' offers $99 four-ticket deals for 9 San Diego concerts
Live Nation, the world's largest concert and live events promoter, has announced special discounted “Summer of Live” package deals for nine upcoming concerts at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista.
The deal, which starts today, offers four unreserved lawn tickets for $99 per show, all fees included, while supplies last. The unreserved lawn seating area at the rear of North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre accounts for nearly half of the venue’s nearly 20,000-capacity.
For some of the concerts, the discount is significant.
In the case of the June 29 performance by rappers Kid Cudi and Big Boi, unreserved lawn tickets are priced at $49 each. For the Sept. 18 concert by Mötley Crüe, unreserved lawn tickets are $50.50 each. And for Bryson Tiller’s Oct. 23 concert, unreserved lawn tickets are $54.50 each.
The nine concerts for which the four-ticket lawn offer is being made includes perfomances that will take place at the amphitheater in Chula Vista between late June and late October. The discounted shows are, in chronological order:
June 27: Kid Cudi, Big Boi
July 17: Evanescence, Spiritbox
Aug. 11: Santana, The Doobie Brothers
Aug.12: Toto, Christopher Cross, The Romantics
Aug.18: Ne-Yo, Akon
Sept. 15: Godsmack, Stone Temple Pilots
Sept. 18: Mötley Crüe, Tesla, Extreme
Oct. 16: Logic, G-Eazy
Oct. 24: Bryson Tiller
Live Nation introduced its “Summer of Live” ticket discounts in late 2018 for the following year's concert season at venues in numerous North American cities, including San Diego. In late 2019, Live Nation announced a 2020 season lawn package for its amphitheaters but it was shelved because of the nationwide COVID-19 shutdown of live events.
This year’s online-only offer is available at LiveNation.com/SummerOfLive and applies to concerts at Live Nation amphitheaters across North America.
