Some stories have a happy ending, like this epic saga about a woman willing to go to great lengths to adopt a kitten. @camrynandcowboy spotted little Bambi online and knew instantly that they were made for each other. She trekked over to the rescue where the tiny cat was living and decided to camp out all night to be first in line in the morning.

The video comprises a series of updates as she first waits in her car, but when others arrive, she sets up in a chair outside the shelter. Surprisingly, the parking lot starts to fill up even though Camryn describes this as the "craziest thing I've ever done."

When the rescue finally opens 13 hours after her adventure starts, she gets to meet her baby. But there was one more happy surprise waiting for her. At 1 a.m., another car pulls up, and her dad gets out to wait with her. The two camp out in front all night waiting for Bambi. When 9 a.m. rolls around, Camryn gets a card indicating that she's first in line, and finally, at 11 a.m., she adopts Bambi and takes her home.

The top comment from @DaisyinBloom put out what we were all thinking: "You're waiting to save your baby girl, while your dad is making sure his baby girl is safe." @Stella&Nova asked a key question, "Was everyone there for the same kitten?" and Camryn replied that yes, all the cars she saw pull up were there for Bambi.

Of course, it would be amazing if all rescue animals had a line. "I wish absolutely EVERY ANIMAL had this waiting for them every morning at the shelter. I love you," @Metzger gushed.

So what was so special about Bambi? In addition to her adorableness and super-loud purr, she has a chocolate-and-white coat, a rarity among cats. Bambi first caught everyone's attention from videos of her with her foster mom, and now we all get to see her in her forever home.

What Makes Chocolate Brown Cats So Special?

We frequently see Tabby, Tuxedo, and Orange Cats, but brown felines don't show up as often. That's because the brown coloration is a recessive gene. Some specific breeds have brown coats, but in the general cat population, you don't normally find them.

That's why the very accurately named Bambi became a viral sensation. As a brown-and-white kitty, her parents must not have had any of the dominant genes that would cause her to have black or Tabby fur.

Now, happy Bambi has an amazing origin story to match her unique vibe.
