Taste of Willow Glen fundraiser set for June 10

Stroll and sample restaurant bites along Lincoln Avenue in San Jose’s Willow Glen district on Wednesday, June 10, and the proceeds will go to good causes.

The Willow Glen Lions Club is hosting the Taste of Willow Glen, which runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Samples from 14 restaurants will reflect the array on the avenue: Asian cuisines, Italian, pizza, ice cream and more.

The annual event benefits the Lions Club’s community projects, which include the Willow Glen Education Foundation, Second Harvest, community vision clinics and student speaker competitions, according to the group.

To take part, order a $40 “passport” at eventbrite.com and then pick it up that day at the Taste booth at Lincoln and Minnesota avenues.
