Flags, 150 Years, and Fun at the First Wednesday Night Market | Red Bluff Chamber of Commerce
This Wednesday will be a special day for Red Bluff, Tehama County, and the Downtown Wednesday Night Market as the community celebrates local history, patriotism, and the start of another exciting summer season. The Red Bluff–Tehama County Chamber of Commerce will give away 300 American flags to commemorate Red Bluff's 150th Anniversary, Tehama County's 170th Anniversary, and America's upcoming 250th Birthday celebration.
Action News Now will broadcast live from the market during their 4-5 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscasts. Community members are encouraged to arrive early and be part of the excitement. The evening will also feature a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially launch the 2026 market season. Guests can enjoy live music by the Main Street Band, children's activities, local farmers, food trucks, artisans, and a variety of vendors. A new addition this year is the Chamber's NeXtGEN Youth Entrepreneurship Program, giving young entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their products and gain valuable business experience. The Wednesday Night Market runs from 5-8 p.m. in Downtown Red Bluff at Washington and Pine Streets. Come celebrate our community, support local businesses, and help kick off a great summer season.
Chamber Chair Corner
May was a wonderful month for Red Bluff and Tehama County. From community events and local celebrations to graduation season, it was another reminder of how special it is to live, work, and do business in a community that truly supports one another. I would like to congratulate all the 2026 graduates. Your hard work and dedication have brought you to this exciting milestone, and we are proud of you. Whether your next step is college, trade school, the workforce, the military, or a new adventure, we wish you great success and want you to know your community is cheering you on. As we head into summer, there is much to look forward to. The Wednesday Night Markets return in June and will be held every Wednesday downtown next to the old courthouse. Be sure to stop by, shop local, support our vendors, and enjoy the energy these markets bring to our community. I'll be there on opening day, and you might even find yourself on the news! Summer is a great time to reconnect, support local businesses, and enjoy all that Tehama County has to offer. Every time we shop local, attend an event, recommend a business, or simply show up, we help build a stronger community together. Cheers to summertime, continued growth, and the amazing people who make Red Bluff and Tehama County such a special place to call home. With gratitude, Haley Ray, Chair, Red Bluff-Tehama County Chamber of Commerce
CEO Report: Summer Momentum and Community Growth
As we move into summer, I am encouraged by the energy and momentum throughout Red Bluff and Tehama County. From new business activity to increased community engagement, there are many reasons to be optimistic about our future. In recent weeks, we have celebrated several ribbon cuttings for new, expanding, and relocating businesses. These investments reflect confidence in our local economy, and I encourage you to join us at upcoming Chamber events as we celebrate the businesses helping our community grow. We are also pleased to welcome new Chamber members while continuing to see strong participation from existing members. Thank you for your investment in our business community and its success. This summer, more than 100 local businesses, farmers, food vendors, and community organizations will participate in our markets and events, creating opportunities for economic growth and community connection. We are especially excited to expand our NeXtGEN Young Entrepreneur Program from the Business Expo to the Wednesday Night Summer Market, giving young entrepreneurs valuable hands-on business experience. The Wednesday Night Summer Market remains one of our community's favorite traditions, bringing together fresh produce, local food, live music, shopping, and family fun throughout the season. Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we are building stronger businesses, a stronger economy, and a stronger Tehama County.
