Mesmerizing Time-Lapse Captures a Tiny Kitten Growing Into a Stunning Adult Cat
Kittens go through a lot of changes during their first year of life. Even if we're with them every moment of every day, it's almost impossible to notice the subtle differences happening each and every day.
This is where one kitten named Curly comes in. Her cat dad took a photo of the itty-bitty kitty every day for a year, and in an impressive time-lapse video, we get the full glow-up in 1-minute flat!
@furryfritz Slow version of Curly growing up I still haven't edited the Timelapse clips of her siblings Roxy and Fritz. Stay tuned. #cat#kitten#growingup
Originalton - MADE TO WORSHIP
"Catographer" Nils Jacobi (via @furryfritz) knows how to get all the best shots, and Curly makes for an adorable model in this condensed day-to-day growth journey! The most fascinating part is that the seasoned German photographer and content creator captured how gradually the changes happened-especially her eyes morphing from sky blue to green to hazel-right before our eyes!
It just goes to show how much these cuties change in 12 short months, and we don't notice until we look back. Curly's stunning coat colors came in beautifully, and she's sweeter now than ever. Along with kitty siblings Roxy and Fritz, Curly is so very loved, and it shows throughout her incredible transformation into a proper young lady.

A Kitten's First Year of Life
Just as it is with human kids, kittens go through a ton of changes throughout their first year of life. From developmental milestones to rapid growth spurts, you'll hardly recognize your little one by the time they celebrate their first birthday.
We all know how adorable kittens are when they're born, but they're also blind and helpless, fully dependent on mama (and us). Then, just as quickly as they came into the world with their cuteness, they open their eyes, start navigating the world, playing, and growing into their adult bodies and personalities.

All The Small Things - blink-182
New Jersey's own Montclair Veterinary Associates says there are a few key things every pet parent should do to raise a happy, healthy kitty:
- Feed them properly. Kitten-specific food ensures they get all the right nutrients to feel their best as they go through these changes.
- Keep vet appointments and vaccinations on schedule. The best medicine for any ailment is prevention.
- Make sure the litter box stays clean with unscented, clumping litter to prevent elimination problems.
- Early socialization goes a long way. During the crucial window between 2 and 7 weeks old, focus on positive experiences, gentle handling, and expose them to different noises, play, and routines. This helps build trust and confidence, so by the time they're an adult, they're the friendly and affectionate companion of your dreams-just like cutie-pie Curly!
